Oh, Christmas Tree!

I can't believe I haven't put our Christmas tree pictures up yet! We went a pretty different route this year than last year. Here she is!

 

 I love love real Christmas trees, but this year we went with a new kind of tree. I'm so happy with my retro white tree. It's so pretty!

While I love the perfect trees with flawless ornament placing and perfectly matching everything, I don't think I've ever really wanted a tree like that (granted, it looks a little bit like that right now).

I want my tree to have character and special ornaments with meaning. So while this year we did it a little matchy matchy, I plan to start collecting a lot more ornaments and making our tree each year more "us". Also, since I've taken these pictures, I've added a letter "E" and a couple other different things.

The snow globe type ornament in the second picture is the ornament we picked out to represent our 2011. To us, it seems like we've done a lot of moving around and didn't feel we had a space of our own. But we're trying to remember the motto, "Home is wherever I'm with you." Cheesy, but true.

It's also pretty funny to compare my photography skills from last year to this year. Haha, I was using the flash on my closeup pictures. Hilar!

And um, Christmas is next WEEK? Crazy.
