Wed nes day

I'm pretty sure that if I had this awesome One Line A Day Journal, yesterday's would have said:

Can you imagine a world with hover bacon?

Watch this video and laugh with me, please.

I love the internet sometimes (or a lot of times). We can share hilarious, inspiring, weird, or sad things with each other. I love online friends!! (And sorry that I seem to keep stealing things from busybeelauren. I really can be original. Promise. But this really represents my whole day yesterday.)

In other news, little Anya is adjusting beautifully. The only real problem we're having is her scratching everything. We don't want to have her declawed, so we're getting these little thangs to solve the problem.

In the meantime our bathroom looks like this:

Hahaha. Luckily we don't often have guests to see this creation.

It's funny how much I've become attached to my little girl. I really treat her like my own baby. I worry about leaving her home alone, play with her incessantly, and snuggle with her as much as I can.

Happy Wednesday!

My cat is declawed, but I don't think she realizes it because she still tries to scratch. It's kinda cute, kinda sad. Haha.

Wow, those soft paws are an amazing idea. If we ever get a cat we will definitely have to check that out.

Your new kitty is adorable! My hubby and I have 4 kitties and they're our babies. None of our kids are declawed, but I trim their claws regularly and try to provide them with plenty of scratching posts throughout the house. They seem to really like the sisal ones (and the bonus to those is that if you're even the slightest bit handy, you can re-wrap them once they've been "destroyed" - hardware stores sell rolls of the sisal, and you just need to hot glue it back on).
